Hull City AFC has been working with the Hull Safeguarding Children Board, the Humber Sports Partnership and the two other professional clubs in the city, in a unique partnership, to develop a joint policy and practice guidance for safeguarding our local children and young people.
The policy and practice guidance was launched by the clubs earlier this month together with a toolkit for safeguarding children developed by the Humber Sports Partnership, which features the professional clubs policy.
Tigers Chairman Adam Pearson said: "The club takes its responsibility towards children and young people's safety very seriously and will continue to work across the city with all those involved in sport so that our community knows that we are doing all that we can locally to make sure that our children and young people can enjoy sport in a safe environment."
