A product of the Tigers' youth set-up, Mark announced himself with a bang at the end of the 2009/10 Premier League campaign.
Mark's ascent to the top-flight was made all the more remarkable given that he was previously deemed surplus to requirements by Newcastle - who released him as a 15-year-old. Determined to carry on, the teenager was spotted by the Tigers whilst playing local football.
After scoring 33 goals form 30 youth and reserve team games during 2009/10, Mark made his League debut against Sunderland, before going on to feature in the Tigers' final games of the season against Wigan and Liverpool.
Mark's first senior goal came in the City's 2-2 draw at Wigan. With the scores level at 1-1 going into the second half, the teenager stole in at the back post to convert a George Boateng cross from close range.
After breaking into the first-team last season, Mark will be hoping to push on in the 2010/11 npower Championship campaign.
In January 2011, Mark joined former Tigers boss Peter Taylor at Bradford City on a months loan.
The first half of 2011/12 was spent on loan at Bury, but a hamstring injury hampered his progress and he returned to the KC Stadium in December.
