Liam was selected for the Scotland Under-17 squad in March 2008.

The talented centre-back shared the Hull City Supporters' Club Young Player of the Year award with Jamie Devitt in 2007-08.

He played some part in most of the Tigers pre-season friendlies in the build-up to our first-ever Premier League campaign before making his first team debut in the Carling Cup defeat at Swansea.

Signed a professional contract with the Club ahead of the home game against Everton in September, when he was also an unused substitute. Liam was also an unused substitute for the crucial game against Bolton.
