Beverley-born Will is a successful graduate of the Tigers' Centre of Excellence. Having been at the club from an early age, the midfielder was rewarded with his first professional contract at the age of 18, signing a two-and-a-half year deal in December 2006.
Will gained his first taste of senior action in a loan stint at League One strugglers Port Vale in October 2007. Making his debut off the bench in a 1-0 defeat to Brighton, the youngster enjoyed greater success upon his first start at Vale Park. Playing the full 90 minutes, he helped the Valiants to a 2-1 victory over Swindon.
The winger returned to the KC ranks to make his Tigers debut when he came on in the closing stages of the Third Round FA Cup tie at Plymouth Argyle in January 2008.
With first-team opportunities at the KC Stadium limited, Will was then allowed to go out on a two-month loan to League Two relegation candidates Mansfield Town. Joining the Staggs in January 2008, Will gained invaluable experience during a 12-game spell, though he was still to register his first League goal as his time at Field Mill came to an end.
2008/09 also saw Will involved as an unused substitute in the FA Cup replay against Newcastle United. He signed a new one-year deal at the end of the campaign.
He was given a chance to impress early in the 2009/10 season when he started the Carling Cup second round tie against Southend at the KC Stadium. Three months after his first competitive start in a Tigers shirt, Will was again on the move - this time joining League Two high-fliers Rochdale.
It was whilst at Spotland that Will registered his first goal in League football, slotting in from close-range to set the Dale on their way to a comfortable 3-0 victory at home to Macclesfield.
Buoyed by his success with Rochdale, Will was given a chance to shine on the biggest stage when he was handed successive starts in the Premier League in May 2010. Making his League debut for the Tigers against Wigan, the winger didn't disappoint, heading in a Kevin Kilbane cross to give City the lead at the DW Stadium.
Following his star-turn against the Lactics, Will put in another impressive shift in the Tigers final game of the season, as they held Liverpool to a 0-0 draw at the KC Stadium.
After making four appearances for City in the opening months of the 2010/11 campaign, Will was sent on loan to League Two Rotherham United in November, where he impressed in three appearances, including a goal-scoring performance in the Millers 5-0 thrashing of Port Vale.
In January 2011 Will was again on the move, re-joining Rochdale in a deal that will run until the end of the current campaign.
