Nicky signed his first pro contract with the Tigers in December 2006.
It ran to June 2009 and was extended to June 2010 in September 2007.
Usually employed as a forward, he made his senior debut when coming on as a late substitute in the 2-0 Championship win against Burnley at the KC Stadium on 30 December 2006.
Nicky was short-listed for the Wickes Football League Apprentice of the Year award and was named the Tigers' Young Player of the Year for 2006-07.
He made the starting line-up in midfield for the Carling Cup wins at Crewe Alexandra and Wigan Athletic as well as six substitute appearances in our hugely successful 2007-08 Championship campaign.
Cup football was again Nicky's best source of action in 09/10 with a Premier League debut not forthcoming.
