Mark Cullen is looking forward to Saturday's local derby against Doncaster Rovers and insists the players will be every bit as up for the game as the supporters.
City head to the Keepmoat Stadium looking for their second win of the season and Cullen, who is in confident mood after marking his first start of the campaign with a goal at Brentford in midweek, believes the atmosphere created by the Tigers' travelling fans will inspire his side.
"The fans can play a massive part when they get behind us on Saturday," said Cullen.
"We'll be trying to put a good performance in. It's a big game and the fans will be well up for it and the players will be too. We're looking forward to it.
"Doncaster are a good side, just like every other side in the Championship, and it will be a tough game for us."
Reflecting on Tuesday's defeat at Brentford, Cullen had mixed feelings but was delighted to get off the mark for the season and disappointed to see a second 'goal' ruled out for offside.
"I want to play as much as possible and when I play, I feel as though I've got a chance of scoring and that is what happened on Tuesday.
"If the second had stood, I think we would have gone on to win the game. But that's gone now and we just have to move on."
