Nigel Pearson hopes to see his side build on their positive start to the season when the Tigers visit Millwall on Saturday.
Three points from the opening game were very welcome but Pearson now wants to see his troops pick up a positive result on the road.
"It's a case of building on what we've already done," said the City boss.
"I'd like to see us create more opportunities, but it was a positive start. There will always be areas to improve week in, week out.
"One of Millwall's main strengths is the fact that they have a strong work ethic. They are well organised and have been since Kenny Jackett went there. They've got players who are playing with a lot of confidence because they had a good season last year.
"It will be a tough game, as it always is when you go down there, but I'm sure they know that it will be a tough game for them as well.
"We need to make sure we perform well and if we get that right, things will go on from there. It will be good to see how we deal with the atmosphere away from home, but the mood in our camp is good and it's about how we transfer that into results."
