We're Ready For Arsenal - Brown

Posted on: Fri 12 Mar 2010

George Boateng says the Tigers are ready to take on Arsenal at the KC Stadium and bounce back from the disappointment of three successive defeats on the road.

It will be City's first home game for five weeks and Boateng and his team-mates are determined to make home advantage count.

"We have to recover from the last three games," said Boateng.

"We can't afford to spend too much time thinking about the games that we've lost. Whatever went wrong last week has to be put behind us and we have to be ready for Arsenal.

"The good thing is we have played some good teams at home recently and have done well. Those were tough, high-intensity games and that is the way to get something against Arsenal.

"We're looking forward to it. Some people might think that because we are near the bottom of the table, we won't be looking forward to coming up against one of the title contenders. That is not the case.

"We've come to realise that when we play opposition that play good football, Hull City raise their game to match that.

"The KC Stadium has become a bit of a fortress for us this season, but tomorrow we will have to put our best foot forward and work hard to get a result."
