Pedersen Ready For New Experience
Henrik Pedersen is ready to return to action and get his first taste of Play-Off football on Sunday.
The Tigers travel to Vicarage Road on Sunday to face Watford in the first leg of the Championship Play-Off semi-finals and Pedersen is eager to be involved.
"Hopefully I will make it for Sunday and I've trained the last couple of days," said Pedersen.
"So we'll see how it goes tomorrow, but obviously I want to be involved because it's a huge game.
"It's the type of game you look at during your career and want to play in. The chance to do that has come now.
"I haven't experienced the Play-Offs before. The closest I've been to this type of football was a Carling Cup semi-final which was played over two legs."
Although the Tigers ended the season in far better form than Watford, Pedersen says that won't matter.
"Watford have struggled recently, but this is two completely separate games and they'll go into them with a clean slate.
"They were one of the favourites to go up automatically at the start at the season, so they will be disappointed and feel as though they have something to prove.
"From our point of view, I think we've put the disappointing performance at Ipswich last week behind us.
"This season, we've shown the ability to bounce back whenever we've had a bad result.
"Hopefully we can do that again."
Pedersen is pleased City will play the first leg away from home and although away goals don't count in the Play-Offs, he says the Tigers will be looking for a positive result.
"Personally, I think it's better to play the away leg first. Hopefully we can pick up a great result to bring back to the KC on Wednesday."
