'We'll Give It Everything' - Windass
Dean Windass says he and his team-mates will be putting absolutely everything they have got into the game against Sheffield United on Saturday.
Windass feels the game at Bramall Lane will be like a cup final for the Tigers and he's determined to see them get one over on his former side.
"Every game is a cup final for us now," said Windass.
"We've got to go out there and give everything to the cause. If we can do that from now until the end of the season, hopefully it will be enough to see us promoted.
"Sheffield United are one of my old clubs and Bramall Lane is a very tough place to go.
"They're trying to get into the Play-Offs, so are Crystal Palace and so are Ipswich. It's not going to be easy for us, but if we can go out there with the self-belief we have at the moment it can only help.
"The fact we're in the top two for the first time should help with that self belief, as well as giving us a bit of a nosebleed!
"But seriously, it's a wonderful position to be in, although I'm certainly not getting carried away. There's a lot of football to be played, so let's wait until after the Ipswich game and see where we are then."
Windass ended a mini goal-drought in the 3-1 win at Barnsley on Tuesday night, coming off the bench to score with his first touch.
It is perhaps a sign of the Tigers' style of play, and their current mood, that the forward wasn't instructed to hold the ball up and run it into the corners when coming on with eight minutes remaining.
"The message from the manager was 'go on and get us a third goal'. I didn't think it would come as quickly as it did, but it helped cap a fantastic performance from the team.
"It was a much-needed win because it was our game in hand. It was a great result for us.
"I was on the bench because I needed a bit of a break. I'd played in every game since coming back from injury and was thrown straight back in without any training under my belt because Craig Fagan picked up an injury.
"I fully understood why the manager put me on the bench on Tuesday night. Caleb had been coming off the bench and scoring goals and whatever the manager decides to do, I'll respect that.
"I'll be ready and willing on Saturday, whether I start the game or I'm on the bench."
Windass has also praised the club's fans. A sell-out following will follow the side to Bramall Lane and the forward says they can play a huge part in the outcome of the game.
"The fans are fantastic and they really do help us along. They've been great towards me and all of the lads and they do give you that extra ounce of energy.
"They'll be out in big numbers again tomorrow and hopefully we can give them another three points to cheer."
