Turner Expecting Physical Test
Michael Turner expects Watford to provide a stern physical test when they visit the KC Stadium on Saturday.
The game sees the Championship's third and fourth-placed teams go head-to-head and with only goal difference putting the Tigers ahead of the Hornets, Turner is expecting a tough afternoon.
"Watford are a big, physical side and they work very hard," said Turner.
"They've been in the top three for most of the season and we know it will be a tough game, just like it was at their place.
"With six games to go, every game is a big game and we know we have to be ready because they are a good side."
While the Tigers' goal-scoring exploits have grabbed most of the headlines in the last three games, the defence has been in good form too.
Having conceded just once in that run of fixtures, Turner is keen to keep City's defensive form going.
"Things have to start from the back because that's where we stop goals going in. We know that with the players we have in our squad, scoring goals shouldn't be a problem.
"That is a great thing to have because if you're scoring goals at one end and keeping them out at the other, you're going to win games.
"We're all looking forward to the Watford game and we know there will be a big crowd watching.
"It's always nice to play in front of a big crowd at the KC. I'm sure the atmosphere will be great and we're all relishing it."
