Garcia Keen To Maintain Home Form
Richard Garcia knows it's vitally important the Tigers maintain their superb home form for the remainder of the season.
Their next test comes with the visit of fourth-placed Watford on Saturday and having lost just once at the KC Stadium since October, Garcia says keeping that form going could be a key factor come the end of the season.
"It's very important we keep our home form going," said Garcia.
"There are three home games left and if we are to stand a chance of promotion, be it automatic or through the play-offs, we have to make sure we do well at home.
"We know there is going to be a big crowd inside the KC tomorrow and that is really exciting for everybody.
"The KC is a great place to play when it's buzzing and we saw against Southampton a couple of weeks ago that when the crowd gets right behind you, it can give you that extra five yards you need."
Garcia is hoping City can replicate their form of late which has seen them win their last three games and the midfielder believes three points against Watford will give their Premier League hopes another massive boost.
"It's a very big game for us and if we can get a win it will help to give our promotion hopes another push.
"We've been playing well lately so hopefully we can take that into the Watford game and get the result we want.
"We've been scoring a few goals and maybe we've been getting the rub of the green as well. We're making our own luck, which is a good thing.
"There's a buzz around the club, but at the same time we have to be realistic because there are still six games to go.
"We're still fully focussed on those games and on getting as much out of them as we can."
