Phil Brown wants the Tigers to start showing the kind of form they have produced at the KC Stadium away from home, starting with Saturday's visit to Charlton Athletic.

City haven't lost at home since the visit of Charlton in early October, but have suffered heavy defeats in their last two away games.

They put that behind them with a 2-0 win against Leicester at the KC last weekend and now Brown wants to see his side to produce similar performances on the road.

"Last week gave us the opportunity to restore a bit of pride and belief, the type of things a manager wants in his side and the players have to take the credit for that," said Brown.

"But now we have to take that typical home performance away from home. To do that, we have to be similar without the ball to how we were last weekend.

"With the ball, I'm quite confident that we will create chances and score goals. Without the ball, we've got to have the mentality of being difficult to play against. That's what I'll be looking for on Saturday."

Brown is also keen for there to be no repeat of the 20-man brawl that marred the last meeting between the two sides.

Both clubs were fined by the FA for their part and Brown hopes tomorrow's clash will be remembered for the football.

"I'm certainly not expecting another brawl, two men to be sent off or representatives from both benches to be on the field.

"I'm expecting players to conduct themselves in the right manner. We just want to concentrate on playing football and both teams are capable of playing good football.

"Hopefully it will be a good football match. We'll be going there with a game-plan to win the match."

Brown will be without the suspended Dean Windass for the trip to The Valley but could call on the services of Nick Barmby while Michael Turner is a slight doubt.

"Nick came through the reserves on Wednesday with flying colours and he'll be involved in the squad for tomorrow.

"That's good news for everybody. He's got that grin back on his face and the way he plays the game is bright and lively.

"He might well have a part to play from the bench on Saturday, but we'll wait and see.

"We do have a slight doubt over Michael Turner, who is not out of the woods with his hamstring yet.

"But hopefully everything should be okay with him and he'll be able to play a big part on Saturday."
