Mark Cullen hopes his goal against Wigan will be the first of many.
The striker's 65th-minute header at the DW Stadium was his first goal in senior football in only his second Premier League appearance and after admitting it was a dream come true to score in the top flight, he set his sights on finding the net on a regular basis for the first team.
"To get my first start and then my first goal was a dream come true," said Cullen.
"It was a fantastic ball in from George and as a striker, all you can do is try and put it away. If the deliveries keep coming in like that, hopefully I can keep getting on the end of them.
"I'm already looking forward to next season and I just want to play as many games as I can. Hopefully this is just the start for me."
Cullen was also pleased to see Will Atkinson get on the scoresheet. The 21-year-old was making his first Premier League appearance and brought the Tigers level just before half time.
"Will's a good player and it's great to play with him because you know he will always work hard.
"It was just a shame that we couldn't hang on for the win in the second half. But hopefully we can pick something up next week against Liverpool."
