Midfielder Tom Cairney says he would relish the chance to test himself against Chelsea at the KC Stadium.
19-year-old Cairney made his Premier League debut against Wolves at the weekend and impressed during the 2-2 draw. He now hopes he has done enough to earn another start when the league leaders roll into town.
"Anybody would look forward to playing against Chelsea," said Cairney.
"We've got a big squad here and the manager might decide to rotate things. I just hope to be in the squad.
"But hopefully, Saturday was the start of a long career with Hull City. I love the Club, I love training here every day and this is where I want to be."
Looking back at his debut, Cairney felt his side deserved more than the point they got having twice taken the lead through Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink and Stephen Hunt.
"We could have taken the three points with the chances we had, but Wolves had a few chances and Kevin Doyle was lively for them.
"It was probably a good game for any neutrals watching, but it was quite nerve-racking to play in.
"It was a big game to make my debut in, but I'm just glad the gaffer has got the confidence in me to throw me into such a game."
