Back On The Goal Trail

Posted on: Thu 26 Nov 2009

Stephen Hunt was delighted to help the Tigers to all three points after another thrilling game at the KC Stadium.

For the second game in succession, City hit three first half goals and that proved to be enough as they beat Everton 3-2.

That first half blast included Hunt's third goal of the season and he was pleased to help lift his side further up the league table.

"Things fell for us in the box for a change and luckily, the first one fell onto my left foot," said Hunt.

"I was pleased to get back on the scoresheet because it had been a while since I scored. That was starting to bug me a little bit, but that one fell nicely for me.

"We then built a nice cushion before half time. We defended well in the first half, we had a good shape and we broke on them well.

"They got a couple of sloppy goals back after the break, but we held on and showed good spirit."
