Windass Praises Performance
Dean Windass praised the level of the Tigers' performance in the 3-1 win against Barnsley on Tuesday night.
Windass netted his 13th goal of the season shortly after coming on as a substitute, but he was quick to highlight the quality shown by City in difficult conditions.
"I was expecting a rest last night," said Windass.
"But then Caleb Folan came off and I ended up coming on. We're delighted with the result. We went there to win the game to push us into the top two and the lads were fantastic.
"We're disappointed that we ended up conceding a goal, that is how much it means to us. But performance-wise I thought we were fantastic and we kept the ball well."
Windass was also quick to praise the contribution of Fraizer Campbell, whose flick set up the forward's goal seven minutes from time.
"I've been having a go at Fraizer for the last few weeks for not setting me up, so when I shouted for the ball and he gave it to me I couldn't believe it!
"I hit it and their keeper did me a bit of a favour really.
"We've got three games to go now, we're in a very good position and the lads are confident at the moment."
