Boaz Myhill refused to concede that that the Tigers had 'eased' their way to Saturday's 3-0 win against Watford.

Goals from Michael Turner, Fraizer Campbell and Caleb Folan gave the scoreline a comfortable look but Myhill put the three points down to a lot of hard work from the players.

"I definitely don't think we easily beat them," said Myhill.

"The win was born out of real hard work and that certainly isn't easy. I can't run around the pitch in the way the boys did today and I've nothing but admiration for the way we played.

"I knew it was going to be a tough test and they were in the Premier League last season.

"Maybe getting such a good result against them is a surprise, but then again maybe that is being a bit disrespectful to us.

"We did ourselves justice all over the pitch and it was a well-earned win."

The win capped a big week in Myhill's own career. The goalkeeper made his senior debut at international level for Wales last Wednesday and he's enjoying life at the moment.

"It's been a special week. My family and myself were very proud and it was a different experience.

"I was taken out of my club environment for the first time in five or six years and it was something I really enjoyed.

"Playing with different players was one factor and I also got to see a different part of the world which is something you don't always appreciate in football."
