Richard Garcia was delighted to help the Tigers to their first league double of the season as they saw off the challenge of Wolves with a 2-0 win at the KC Stadium.

Garcia bagged his fourth goal of the season less than 90 seconds into the second half to give his side the lead before Fraizer Campbell's third goal in as many games sealed the victory.

"It was a fantastic performance," said Garcia.

"We played well at Charlton the other day and were disappointed to only get a point. The boys wanted to put that right yesterday and we did that.

"We started the game on the front foot and that is what the manager has been wanting all season. It puts the opposition under pressure and we're seeing the results.

"I thought we played some of our best football of the season against Wolves. Confidence is high at the moment and we're starting to know the way each other plays.

"One of the reasons for that might be that we have a fairly consistent starting eleven. But the competition for places is another reason. There are a lot of players waiting to jump in and get a start themselves and that pressure keeps you on your toes."

Garcia's goal came courtesy of Campbell's inviting ball across the six-yard box and the Australian was modest when it came to assessing his finish.

"There was some nice build up play and then Fraizer put a great ball across the box. It was a tap in for me at the back post really.

"In some ways, it was lucky it went in because it went under the keeper's legs."

Garcia was also heavily involved in the second goal as his header was parried away by Wayne Hennessey, only for Campbell to fire home the rebound from a narrow angle.

"It was a great cross from 'Daws' (Andy Dawson) for my header, and we all know that Fraizer is always alive in the box. That's how he gets his goals."
