Debut Disappointment For Campbell
Loan signing Fraizer Campbell admits he's pleased the Tigers have a quick opportunity to put their defeat to Watford behind them.
City lost 1-0 at Watford on Saturday but have the chance to put things right when Barnsley visit the KC Stadium this evening (KO 7.45pm).
"After a defeat you need a quick turnaround and the chance to rewrite the script," said Campbell.
"Hopefully we can put in a good performance against Barnsley tonight because that would help us to forget the result on Saturday."
The game at Vicarage Road saw Campbell make his debut for the club and he admitted it was a mixed day.
Marlon King's first half goal gave the hosts all three points and although City enjoyed periods of possession, they failed to turn it into goals.
"My debut was only good in parts. Obviously it was a bad result for the club, but it was good for me to get a run-out and play with my new team-mates for the first time.
"It will probably take me a little bit of time to get to know everybody and how they play, but I hope to be properly match-fit very soon.
"I think that will maybe take one more game and it shouldn't take too long to gel with the rest of the lads."
