Kevin Kilbane says the Tigers must get Saturday's cruel defeat at Portsmouth out of their system as soon as possible.
City led 2-1 going into the final couple of minutes at Fratton Park but somehow ended up losing the game 3-2 as Portsmouth staged an unlikely comeback.
"It was such a sad end," said Kilbane.
"We'd certainly done enough to win the game, so to get nothing at all was a big blow.
"We were in a winning position going into the last few minutes and I can't remember that happening this season away from home, so that is one small positive to take. But the way we conceded the last two goals wasn't good from our point of view.
"We've just got to look forward to next weekend now and try and get Portsmouth out of our system as quickly as possible."
