Jozy Altidore hopes there are more goals to come after finally breaking his Premier League duck at the weekend.
Altidore's first league goal for the Tigers helped them to a 2-1 win against Manchester City and although he was more delighted by the team's display than anything else, he hopes more goals will follow.
"It was great to score, but the most important part was getting a win against what a lot of people consider to be a powerful team," said Altidore.
"Hopefully there will be more goals to come for me, but this isn't a personal thing here at Hull. It's a team effort to stay in the Premier League and it's more important that the team do well than anything else.
"It's been a good week and hopefully we can keep this form going. We're a tough team to play against at the KC Stadium and we always make it hard for the opposition.
"I don't think there were too many nerves when they got a goal back. We've been in that position quite a bit now and we're growing as a team. We're learning what it takes to close out games.
"We showed that on Saturday and we did well.
"The challenge now is to get some results away from home. We're all up for that challenge and we want to keep improving with each game."
