Phil Brown has confirmed the Tigers are in talks with former Bolton midfielder Stelios Giannakopoulos over a move to the KC Stadium.

The Greek international watched Sunday's 2-2 draw with Everton from the Director's Box with Brown set to hold talks with him this evening.

"We're currently talking to Stelios," said Brown.

"That's with regards to maybe a contract until the end of the season or possibly until the January transfer window. He has an ambition to play in the World Cup for Greece and he's without a club at the moment.

"If we can convince him to sign for us, it will be a no-lose situation for us. He has been a right-sided player and I know him very well. I don't know how long Craig Fagan will take to come back, so to add another player at this stage when the transfer window is closed is a bonus."
