Paul Ince believes the recent international matches could have an impact on Saturday's game between Blackburn Rovers and Hull City.

Speaking to www.rovers.co.uk, Ince admitted to being concerned after seeing ten of his players involved in fixtures around the world.

"I'm disappointed in some of the (international) managers because they played some of our players for 90 minutes - in the case of Ooijer, Santa Cruz and Reid.

"You can see why sometimes Premier League managers don't let their players go if they are going to start playing them for 90 minutes.

"No disrespect to Hull, but they've had something like two players away* whilst we've had ten, so they are going to have fresher legs.

"You always see it over the years, players go away with their countries and come back and even the biggest teams struggle to perform on the Saturday.

"We've got to make sure it doesn't happen to us, but I'm pleased to say that they are all back unscathed."

Meanwhile, Ince is backing Tigers fans to help create a cracking atmosphere inside Ewood Park and is full of admiration for the job Phil Brown has done as manager.

"Hull will have a big following tomorrow and it should make for a cracking atmosphere.

"It is so important for us to get off to a good start at home. The expectations are on us now, especially after last week's result and we've got to deliver.

"But it won't be easy. Phil Brown has done a fantastic job. You always see these sides that have come up from the Championship on the crest of a wave. They got a great win at home against Fulham so they'll be up for it.

"It won't be an easy game so we have to make sure we are up for it too."

Ince welcomes Brett Emerton back into his squad for tomorrow's game, although he is likely to be without Johann Vogel and Martin Olsson.
