Peter Halmosi is looking forward to fulfilling his Premier League dream having become the Tigers' club-record signing yesterday.

The Hungarian international has joined the club on a four-year contract and admits that it's always been his ambition to play in what he classes as 'the best league in the world'.

"I am very happy to be here because this is a big opportunity for me to play in the best league in the world," he said.

"When I came to England it was always a dream of mine to play in the Premier League. When I was growing up in Hungary it was also always my dream to play there.

"Everything around the Premier League is special - the supporters, the football, the stadiums. Everything about it is just exciting. It's always been my dream to play at this level and now I have the opportunity to prove myself."

It was Plymouth Argyle who gave Halmosi the chance to play in England although he is leaving Home Park behind, he admits that he'll always be grateful to the Devon club.

"Plymouth are a very good club with good supporters and a good chairman but this is the Premier League," he added. "I was always very happy at Plymouth but this move is for the good of my career.

"The money (transfer fee) doesn't worry me and I will just go out and play football."
