Hull City and Blackburn Rovers drew 0-0 at the KC Stadium on Saturday afternoon in a game that is unlikely to live long in the memory.
Phil Brown made three changes to his side as Boaz Myhill, Geovanni and Craig Fagan came in for Matt Duke, Jimmy Bullard and Jozy Altidore.
Andy Dawson and Anthony Gardner both passed fitness tests to play.
Sam Allardyce's Blackburn won an early free kick when a combination of George Boateng and Paul McShane brought Junior Hoilett down 25 yards out.
Benni McCarthy took the set-piece but was well off target with his shot.
Chris Samba was also off target with an early shot for the visitors while McCarthy saw a 'goal' ruled out for offside.
Dean Marney was booked for taking a free kick too quickly for referee Chris Foy's liking before Fagan missed a golden chance.
He fired straight at Beverley-born Paul Robinson when through on goal following George Boateng's pass.

The game quietened down after that, although Geovanni saw a shot saved by Robinson after the Brazilian's free kick had come back to him when blocked by the wall.
Stephen Hunt had a chance in the 39th minute after being played in by Marney, but he shot tamely at Robinson.
Soon after, there were shouts for a penalty when Paul McShane went down in the box when trying to collect a return pass, but the referee wasn't interested.
Blackburn were then forced to make a change as former Tiger Keith Andrews came on to replace the struggling Vince Grella.
Half Time: Tigers 0-0 Blackburn
The scrappy nature of the game continued into the second half with Franco Di Santo and Boateng both seeing shots go straight down the throat of the opposition goalkeeper.
City had a good chance on the hour when Garcia controlled the ball neatly in the box, but his shot was weak and saved by Robinson.
Blackburn substitute Nikola Kalanic was booked four minutes later for a late tackle on Gardner.
The striker then missed a good chance moments later, firing into the side-netting.
City's first change came on 66 minutes as Altidore replaced Garcia.
Kalanic went close again when he held off the challenge of Kamil Zayatte, but Myhill saved with his legs before the defence dealt with the loose ball.

Every chance seemed to be falling Kalanic's way.
On 69 minutes, he fired tamely across the face of goal when he really should have hit the target.
Samba was booked on 72 minutes for bringing down Altidore in full flight.
Altidore felt he should have had a penalty on 75 minutes when he was tripped into the box, but he was penalised for fouling his marker first.
It looked to be the correct decision.
City then made a double change with Seyi Olofinjana and Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink replacing Marney and Fagan.
Vennegoor of Hesselink went close almost immediately, heading a left-wing cross just wide.
Just two minutes of time were added during which Blackburn won a corner, City cleared and that was it.
