Boaz Myhill was on top form as the Tigers drew 0-0 at Tottenham Hotpsur on Saturday afternoon.
In a marvellous display that revived memories of fellow Welsh international Tiger Tony Norman's superb performance in our FA Cup visit to White Hart Lane in 1981, Myhill denied Spurs time and time again as City held out to claim a point.
Paul McShane came into the defence in place of Bernard Mendy and there were also starts for Nick Barmby and Geovanni.
While Barmby and captain Anthony Gardner lined-up up against their former club, left-back Andy Dawson faced his brother Michael.
Although Spurs had the better of the early possession, they struggled to make it count against a resolute City side.
Craig Fagan required lengthy treatment for a head injury after a clash with a Tottenham defender but was okay to carry on in his bid to rush the home defence.
City's apparent 'time-wasting' was frustrating the home support.
As skipper, Gardner was given a warning by the referee, but moments later Barmby was booked for delaying the taking of a throw-in.

Boaz Myhill had to be at his best on 37 minutes.
His stop from Wilson Palacios was good, but his save from Robbie Keane's follow up was world class as he tipped the ball over the bar.
Tottenham were increasing the pressure as half time approached and Niko Kranjcar saw his curling effort go just wide.
Deep into four minutes of added time, Myhill produced another fine save, this time denying Jermain Defoe.
Half Time: Tigers 0-0 Spurs
City survived loud penalty shouts early in the second half when the ball appeared to strike an arm in the box.
Palacios was booked on 52 minutes for a foul on Geovanni.
Myhill performed heroics once again two minutes later, denying Luka Modric and then Keane in quick succession.

City should have hit the front on 55 minutes.
Stephen Hunt fed Barmby in the box, but his shot only found the side-netting.
Sebastien Bassong picked up what looked like a harsh yellow card for a challenge on Fagan on the right edge of the box.
The away team couldn't make anything of the free kick.
Tom Huddlestone's shot from distance deflected just wide before Kevin Kilbane replaced Barmby in midfield.
Hunt and Huddlestone had a minor disagreement on 68 minutes when City were awarded a free kick.
The pair pushed each other and Huddlestone was booked for his part.
City's second change came with 15 minutes to go as Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink replaced Geovanni.
A slip in the Spurs defence almost let Hunt in, but Michael Dawson produced a brilliant tackle to stop the midfielder going through one-on-one with the goalkeeper.
At the other end, Myhill produced another incredible save to push away Modric's shot.
City's final change saw Steven Mouyokolo replace Richard Garcia on 83 minutes.
Fagan was booked for a foul on Bale as City started to drop deeper and deeper.
However, a break-out from Kilbane earned his side a free kick and a yellow card for Jermaine Jenas.
Myhill was having the game of his life and he was on hand to prevent substitute Peter Crouch from heading into the net.
From somewhere, the referee found six minutes of time to add on.
Myhill denied Crouch at his near post as Spurs threw everything forward in search of a goal, but City held firm to claim a point.
