Hull City and Sheffield United face a replay after their FA Cup Fifth Round clash at Bramall Lane ended 1-1.
The Tigers had fallen behind early on, but Kamil Zayatte equalised before half time in an even contest.
It means the Tigers go into the hat for the quarter-final draw for the first time since 1971.
Anthony Gardner played his first game since September as Phil Brown made four changes to his side.
Boaz Myhill, Bernard Mendy and Caleb Folan also came into the side, although Ian Ashbee and Craig Fagan didn't feature.
Kevin Kilbane was cup-tied while Matt Duke was rested.
Dean Marney captained the side in Ashbee's absence.
With Gardner slotting into the middle of the back four, Zayatte moved into midfield.
Geovanni supported Folan up front with Richard Garcia playing down the left.
Sheffield United named only five of the possible seven substitutes.
With only three minutes on the clock, Mendy was shown a yellow card after attempting to block Paddy Kenny's clearance after a back pass.
It was a poor decision from referee Andre Marriner, with Kenny making contact with Mendy rather than the other way round.
United took the lead on seven minutes with the first attempt of the game.
David Cotterill crossed deep from the right and Greg Halford climbed above Sam Ricketts to head home into the far corner.
Myhill and Michael Turner protested, feeling there was a foul in the build-up, but the goal stood.
City's first effort on goal came from Andy Dawson's corner, but Garcia could only head over from a central position.
Halford had a chance to score his second of the game after turning Turner, but his final effort was weak and easily saved by Myhill.
Turner was then booked for an alleged elbow on Chris Morgan as he looked to compete for a long ball delivered towards the United box by Ricketts.
Morgan's afternoon soon came to an end as he was forced off with a knee problem.
He was replaced by Danny Webber with Halford reverting to the back four.
The Tigers equalised in the 34th minute after Ricketts had been fouled on the right.

Dawson delivered a perfect free kick into the middle, where Zayatte beat Sun Jihai to head home.
Without Morgan marshalling the back four, United looked vulnerable from crosses, with Turner and Zayatte a menace at each set-piece.
Three minutes were added at the end of the first half during which Billy Sharp headed over from Cotterill's cross.
Half Time: Tigers 1-1 Blades
United started the second half by winning a corner, but Zayatte headed away Lee Hendrie's ball in.
Some magic from Geovanni looked to have sent Folan racing through on goal, but Halford recovered well to produce an excellent tackle and prevent the City striker from getting a shot away.
Mendy then fed Ricketts down the right and when the full back crossed, Garcia met the ball at the far post, only to see his header kept out by Kenny.
City were looking bright and won a corner after Zayatte had led a quick break-away.
Dawson delivered deep for Turner, but his header back across was cleared.
A burst of pace from Mendy brought another shot on goal from City, although this time Kenny saved with his legs at the near post.

City's first change came with 17 minutes to go as Nick Barmby replaced Geovanni before Garcia was booked for tripping Stephen Quinn.
It proved to be the Australian's final act as he was replaced by Manucho.
Brown made his final change with two minutes to go with Ryan France replacing Mendy.
