The May issue of CITY Magazine is on sale now and is packed with the usual variety of exclusive features and Tiger news.

This month, we catch up with Lee Peltier to discuss his life in football so far and we chat to Sam Collins who continues on the long road back to fitness.

We also have an exclusive chat with former Tiger Justin Whittle who recalls the five-and-a-half years he spent with the club, starting with the 'Great Escape'.

"We'd kick them to bits. Teams hated playing against us," said Whittle.

"We had ten kickers and one ball-player…and he was the goalkeeper! If Brabs' (Gary Brabin) didn't get you, someone else would!

"To be fair, we had players who could play but we also had players who could do the 'other side' of it.

"If we'd had ten footballers I don't think we'd have got out of it.

"When I drive into Hull, I always try and go past Boothferry Park. They're still picking a few of my best passes off the train line!"

As well as that, Dean Windass answers your questions in our regular 'Under the Spotlight' feature while Damien Delaney and Nicky Forster pick their Championship team of the season.

We follow the Hull City Under 14s and 15s on their recent trip to Holland while Billy Russell and Neil Mann give their thoughts on a successful season for the title-winning Under 18s.

On the May DVD, we go behind the scenes at the launch of the Tigers' brand new home and away kits made by Umbro.

We also have an interview with former defender Rob Dewhurst as well as our regular Match Xtra package which includes pre and post-match interviews and highlights of the Tigers' games against Sunderland, Southend, Norwich, Wolves and Colchester.

CITY Magazine is on sale now priced £4.99 from Tiger Leisure, WHSmith, Beals Newsagents, Turnbulls, Tesco, P&P News and many other outlets.
