The Tigers' Youth Team began their 2010/11 Youth Alliance North East Conference campaign with a 2-1 defeat against Lincoln City at Ideal Standard this morning.

Billy Russell's side opened the scoring in the 10th minute when Jonathan Margetts beat the offside trap to find the back of the net with a well-taken header.

However, the visitors were back on level terms six minutes into the second half courtesy of Frazer Cobb before substitute Jordan Thomas sealed all three points for the Imps with nine minutes remaining.
