We would like to ask for the help of Tigers fans in making Saturday a success by reading this short article on how to use your TigersCard and also appealing to fans to help us help you get into your seat on time by making an effort to arrive at the stadium five to ten minutes earlier than you would normally.
When you arrive at your turnstile on Saturday there will be a turnstile operator on hand to help you if you have problems with entry to the stadium via your new TigersCard, but we thought we would also take a moment now to show you what you will have to do with your card.
First of all, inside the turnstile, you will see our new card readers behind the Perspex.
To enter the stadium, hold your card underneath the reader at about the level of the shelf with the barcode side facing up (like in the picture above).
You may notice some red laser lines on your card as you do so. Your card will be read once you have positioned it where the laser lines meet in a diamond shape. (Or you can just move it about under the reader if you’re not a perfectionist.)
Once your card has been read and accepted, you will see an ‘ALLOW ENTRY’ message on the screen of the card reader and the turnstile will unlock. At this point, push the turnstile as usual and enter the stadium.
Should there be any problem with your card then a message will appear on the screen of the card reader telling you what to do next. We will have turnstile operators and stewards on hand to help with any problems.
Remember to arrive a little earlier than normal to help us help you get to your seat in time for the big kick-off tomorrow and enjoy the game!
