Nick Proschwitz is delighted to sign for the Tigers and believes the club can help him achieve his dream of playing Premier League football.
The 25-year-old frontman completed his €3.3million move this morning and was quick to signal his desire to help the club win promotion to the top-flight of English football.
“I’m delighted to have completed my move to the club,” he said.
“I think I have joined a great group of lads. Everyone is friendly, everyone is nice and, most importantly, everyone likes to work and train hard which is exactly what I like to do.
“I think Hull City is the perfect club for me and the next stage of my career - I’m proud to call myself a Hull City player.
“I had a great time at my previous club but that is in the past and the only thing I’m focused on now is my future with Hull City.
“Playing in the Premier League is big goal for me and I believe Hull City can help me achieve that goal.
“I believe the Premier League and the German Bundesliga are the biggest leagues in world football and, if I can play in the top-flight of English football, it would be a dream come true for me.”
Proschwitz was in the stands as Steve Bruce’s side beat Winterton Rangers 5-0 on Tuesday night and is hoping to make his Tigers debut on Friday night away at Grimsby but insists his new boss will make the decision on whether he has any involvement.
“I’m fit and raring to go,” he added.
“I’ve done four weeks of pre-season training, three with my former club and one on my own although it’s good to be able to finally train with my new team-mates though.
“Of course I hope to be involved on Friday but you would have to ask the manager because he is the one who will decide whether or not I play.”
TIGERS Player subscribers will be able to see an exclusive interview with our new signing shortly.
