Tuesday night’s 3-2 win against Leeds United at Elland Road was City’s fourth in six games and their third on the bounce, maintaining their place in the top six just a point behind leaders Blackburn.
“We played very well on Tuesday night,” said Faye.
“We have a good team with some good young lads in it and we play some very good football with confidence.
“Everybody is enjoying playing home and away, and I am enjoying this because we are doing very well.
“Even when we went 1-0 down against Leeds, we were still confident because we know we have players that can score goals.”
Faye is one of those players capable of scoring goals. The big centre back took his tally to three in as many games with a first half header to put his side 2-1 in front.
The Nigerian defender puts his goal-scoring form down to his enjoyment of playing in the current City side and he hopes there will be more to come.
“I’ve never scored three goals in three games before, this is the first time,” added Faye.
“I usually maybe get about five a season – maybe it will be ten this season, I don’t know, I’m enjoying it so much here!
“Everybody is so together here and the manager is a good man. We have a good team and that is why we are doing very well.”
