Young midfielder Dougie Wilson has joined Blue Square Bet Premier Division side Grimsby Town on loan until the end of the season.
Wilson, who made his senior debut for the Tigers in an FA Cup tie against Leyton Orient back in January, is likely to go straight into the Mariners’ squad for Saturday’s game against Kidderminster.
As well as gaining some valuable first team experience, Wilson will be looking to help Grimsby to win promotion back to the Football League. The Mariners are currently fifth in the table, four points behind leaders Wrexham and with two games in hand.
The Northern Ireland U19 international joins City colleague Jamie Devitt, who is also on loan at Blundell Park.
