The visit of the Canaries will give Bruce, a former Norwich player, one last chance to run the rule over his squad and a first taste of life in the home dug-out at the KC.
Tonight will also offer a number of Bruce’s new signings a first taste of home soil with the likes of Ben Amos, Eldin Jakupovic, Abdoulaye Faye, Alex Bruce, Sone Aluko and Nick Proschwitz amongst those hoping for a chance to make an impression.
Facing the Tigers tonight will be a Norwich side that has lost just once so far in pre-season under new manager Chris Hughton. Conceding only one goal in their last four outings, the Canaries are also in the final stages of fine tuning before their Premier League campaign gets underway with a trip to Fulham on August 18th.
City fans attending tonight’s game may also get the chance to welcome back a former favourite with Michael Turner set to feature for Norwich following his move to
Carrow Road last month. Turner, who made 146 appearances for the Tigers between 2006 and 2009, has settled in nicely with his new side and will hope to impress once more.
Supporters making a last-minute decision about attending tonight’s game will be pleased to know that cash turnstiles will be in operation around the ground with admission priced £10 Adults, £5 Concessions and £1 Under 10s.
