Ben Amos is loving life at Hull City as he prepares for tonight’s Capital One Cup Second Round tie against Doncaster Rovers.

The Tigers go into the clash at the Keepmoat Stadium having drawn 0-0 at Charlton on Saturday, with Amos keeping his second clean sheet in three league games.

Tonight’s game offers City the chance to further build on their defensive solidity and Amos is enjoying the early days of his season-long loan from Manchester United.

“I’m loving it here,” said Amos.

“There’s a great set of lads here, mostly young like myself, and I’m just loving the opportunity to play games.

“That is what I want to do and I just want to grasp the opportunity with both hands.”

The goalkeeper feels that things are coming together nicely for City and that it’s only a matter of time before the goals start flowing at the other end.

“We’ve had some really good concentration at the back and as long as we keep keeping clean sheets the wins should start to come.

“We’re creating chances, but again on Saturday we couldn’t convert them. The goals will come and I’m sure once we start scoring, they’ll come in abundance. We’ve had a bit of bad luck, but at least we’re creating chances.”
