The MKM South Stand at the KC Stadium has been designated our Family Focused area.
This is the area where we have our cheapest prices for both adults and juniors (season tickets for 10 & unders at £23 and 1—15 year olds at £69), and provide an environment in which our junior Tigers can be protected from some of the more ‘boisterous’ behaviour of some of our more grown-up fans. (Of course, in time, we expect our junior Tigers to join those more boisterous fans!)
We even advertise a mobile number that fans can text anonymously during a match if they wish to bring anything to our attention.
Already in the Family Focused area in the 2012/13 season we have plucked over 60 juniors from the South Stand and given them experiences that they were never expecting – that chance to form a guard of honour for the players as they enter the pitch and for another lucky few the chance to stand in the tunnel and see the players line-up ready to come out onto the pitch.
Over the season there will be more face painting - in fact, they'll be here for every game until the New Year apart from Barnsley and Wolves - player appearances, and more treats for juniors that will make their day that little bit more special in a safe environment.
